I ask DECO Proteste for support in my dispute with Goldenergy – Comercializadora de Energia, S.A.
The company bases its position on the claim that I did not submit a “formal termination request” for Rua Fernando Caldeira 7. I consider this an artificial construction that does not exist in the signed contract. The contract provides for written notice by the customer, not a special procedure, special department, or special form of termination.
Goldenergy itself admitted receiving my message of 23/07/2025 regarding my move and opening a new contract for the new address. I also have two phone recordings in which Goldenergy employees effectively confirm that they knew of my intention to close the old contract, but insisted on their internal procedure. This is the core problem: the company is trying to replace the contract with its own internal rules.
I ask DECO Proteste to help me:
- strengthen my complaint;
- assess the lawfulness of Goldenergy’s position;
- support my demand for recalculation and set-off;
- record the unfair nature of the company’s practice toward a consumer.
