On March 30 2023, I purchased 3 Mitsubishi airco units (2 x 9 kW and 1 12 kW)and paid for installation. Unfortunately, the 9 kW installed in our bedroom had many problems. At installation, the airco made more noise than our two other ones and the installer said he suspected a problem with the stepping motors, but no action was taken for repair because LM and Lumelco were not responsive. Then, at first, the airco didn't behave as expected, not cooling, producing a lot of humidity, water was dripping out of the inside unit. Lumelco, the supplier of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, sent us away with a story... Thanks to the installer ArVac, they found a problem with a missing insulation what solved the dripping and high humidity. A few months later, the gas level went low and again Arvac solved it by finding a faulty tube connection and they repaired it. In the meantime, due to the many interventions, several plastic part broke off and the airco was only fixed with 3 points, not 4. Each time, interventions where initiated via Leroy Merlin support; On dec 04 2024 (within the warrenty period) another and last ticket was opened because the louder noise of the stepping motors was disturbing our sleep. Leroy Merlin didn't take any corrective action sofar and I sent them several mails( dec 17 2024- LM said they would ask AirVac to check-AirVac responded Jan 14 2025 and I sent the audio files with the noise-on feb 11 2025 LM said they where going to contact Lumelco-on Feb 17 2025 Lumelco asked me to give them the serial number and asked to open the unit which I refused bacause it was still under warranty and the cover was closed with ty-wraps, I am not qualified to work on airco units! ) Then, Lumelco reacted and in April this year (8 months later!), they sent two technicians to check my airco unit and decided two stepping motors did need to be replaced. I am still waiting, it is nearly August. I contacted Lumelco myself and they said they would chase up Leroy Merlin (?? Lumelco needs to supply the stepping motors). Despite recent mails to Leroy Merlin, no response anymore from Leroy Merlin, neither Lumelco. I am afraid they want to wait till the warrenty period is over and put the problems 6 foot deep under the ground. Remark: since this Airco inside unit failed several times, was repaired several times and as a result it is "taped" to hold parts together and the unit is only fixed with 3 screws because of the many manipluations, so I asked to deliver and install an identical inside unit on the cost of Leroy Merlin...
