Dear Sir Thank you for your E-mail dated the 17th march 2026. You are correct , we did have a visit from Frio Domesticos.They looked at the washing machine and said its your floor that is causing the problem. They did not do anything with the machine.
I stated that the previous machine had not had this vibration problem but this was ignored and they left.
Upon. further investigation I checked the adjustable feet on the washing machine and saw that none of the 4 securing 17mm nuts had never been fastened and remained loose.
When the machine went through its different cycles at changing revolutions this caused a slight vibration which in turn moved the rubber leveling feet up and down, due to not been secure, which in turn made the washing machine not level and thus increased the vibration and moved the machine.
It is clear that neither the delivery people who we paid Radio Popular to delivery and fit, did not secure the locking nuts on the feet . Nor did Frio Domestico who are your Whirlpool technical agents.
We complained from day one that there was a loud banging noise from the machine but in all cases from Frio Domesticos, they were positive the problem was our floor. Not once did they check to see if the rubber/steel screws were fastened properly.
Once the feet on the washing machine were made secure the vibration stopped , however I believe damage has been done to the drum due to what we saw at Frio Domesticos showed when they took the rear inspection panel off. It was clear that the drum had been hitting the back inspection cover due to sever markings on the cover, which in turn could have damaged the alinement of the drum.
Had your Whirlpool washing machine been fitted and tested on delivery and when Frio Domesticos returned the washing machine after doing their checks and again fitting the washing machine back and securing the level feet with the securing 17mm nuts I would say that there was no problem with your Whirlpool washing machine, it was just fitted badly by both the delivery company employed by radio Popular and Frio Domesticos who failed to set up the machine properly.
In view of the total failure and possibly untold future possible problems of this machine, that Whirlpool should replace this machine and take this matter up with Radio Popular and Frio Domesticos who clearly have staff problems of which we were suffered the stress and time complaining about what has happened over the last 2 months.
