Thank you for contacting our Customer Service department.
After reviewing your case, we have ascertained that the vehicle could not be delivered because you did not comply with our Terms and Conditions.
Please note that the customer is responsible for providing a valid method of payment to start the rental contract.
As you can see reflected in the Restrictions and considerations related to paymentsection of our Terms and Conditions on our website:
-Prepaid cards, Visa Electron and Revolut cards (any kind) are not accepted.
-Payment is not accepted by smartphone, smartwatch or any other similar device, neither do we accept payment by cheque or bank transfer.
-The holder of the bank card used to pay for the rental must be the contract holder and must be present at the time of making the payment.
-Only one bank card can be used per contract and the card must be non-transferable. For special groups; PFAH, PFAC, PDAH, PFAR, XFAR and PQAR may require two credit cards.
-The payer is responsible for knowing the PIN number of their bank card if they are paying with a card that includes this technology.
-The payer must ensure that the bank card has sufficient funds at the time of picking up the vehicle to pay for the rental with all the selected options, and, where applicable, to block the pre-authorization amount corresponding to the group of the rented vehicle.
-Credit and debit cards with no numbers must be in the name of the holder and the numbers and expiry date for the card must be provided when the contract is signed.
In addition, as stated in section No show (uncompleted rental) of our Terms and Conditions:
If the customer does not appear at the desk on the date and at the time selected when making the booking, or if the terms and conditions are not fully complied with, and/or there is an outstanding debt with the company, the reservation will not be completed and it will be treated as a ‘no show’.
(...) Record go will not reimburse the reservation fee in the event of a ‘no show’.
Therefore, Record go cannot authorise a refund of the booking amount.
