Exmos. Senhores,

Dear Customer,
In view of the request made in our Customs Portal, we inform you that we will proceed with the transfer of the goods to customs warehouse (Groundforce), therefore, from the moment you gave the transfer instruction and the same is carried out, there will be costs associated with it (deposit title, insurance and storage charges by Groundforce).
As soon as the documentation is available for collection you will receive a contact from DHL (email) to go to our reception at no Complexo Carga DHL in Oporto Airport. Paperwork collection at DHL has no cost associated, it's free of charge.
After collecting the documentation at the reception of DHL, it is necessary to go to Groundforce to get the Deposit Certificate for the goods to be cleared. This collection can be done at the reception of Groundforce, which is located in the same building as Oporto Customs, in the Airport.
In possession of the 2 sets of documentation, you must submit the process electronically - on the Finance Portal (Portal das Finanças).
When your parcel is cleared / released from Customs, which implies having already paid the customs debt to the tax Authority, you must go to Groundforce and collect the goods.
When proceeding with the withdrawal of the merchandise that is in charge of Groundforce, you will have to pay the issue of the Deposit Certificate, as well as the handling and storage from the 1st day.
For more information about the costs inherent to the goods depository, we suggest contacting this entity through the following contacts:
- Phone: 22 943 2400
- Email: opo@groundforce.pt
We warn you that after collecting the documentation at our reception and if you have any difficulty submitting the process electronically on the finance portal - Portal das Finanças), DHL does not accept the process back. Thus, for any question/difficulty that may arise you should clarify directly with Customs or hire an Official Broker.
Please also be informed that processes handed over to an official broker, DHL will not be responsible for the delivery of the shipment after customs clearance.
In case you choose DHL to proceed with the Clearance, you just need to reply to this email with the ( purchase order from the website, portuguese fiscal number and payment receipt ).
Please note that from the 4th day of the cargo arrival onwards, a storage fee of €2.30 per shipment per day + €0.18 per kg/per day is charged.
We also inform that at the end of the 5th day after the shipment arrives in Portugal, the return process may begin if the customs clearance process has not started. If we do not receive instructions by 20/01 , the return process will be completed, with no possibility of reversal.
We will always be available for any clarification you deem necessary.
Cumprimentos,
