On 19th May my valuable and loved hybrid bike, packed in a suitable box, arrived n Portugal at CTT. Between 19th May and 1st June we exchanged emails and documents and on 2nd June all was well. My status was in customs for clearance - then silence - on 17th I started to enquire why my parcel was not delivered and I had not been updated on status - just customs paperwork being prepared , and raised a complaint, and again I complained in writing to the CTT website on 22nd, and in between times numerous phone calls- all to be assured that customs had the documents all was in process. Oh, in between times, I used the complaints book - five times - because every time I complained there, it was returned in the hour resolved. At 2.0ppm this afternoon (25th) I check status online. Parcel being returned to sender. I have another long call with CTT this pm, and they assure me they have complained to Customs telling Customs they had the paperwork all along, only to be told by Customs it was being returned because it had been in customs too long. This is wholly unacceptable, I want my parcel, i will pay any duties applicable - if someone will communicate with me. I DO NOT want CTT to return the parcel to Thailand because I may never see it again and loose a very precious bike through incompetence.
