To: CTT07/21/2021Good MorningOn the 16th of June the tracking for my parcel that was sent from the UK updated on CTT portal and I was notified that it had arrived in Lisbon. The contents whose value were roughly around 15 to 20 pounds (most of the contents had been gifts so only an estimation could be made). However, it was stating that there were missing documents. A month has passed since then, the parcel is stuck in customs and has still not been delivered. I have sent a consistent number of emails and one week later the parcel arrived in Lisbon, the recipient received a letter from CTT stating that my order was already in Portugal and that some data would have to be provided to complete the customs clearance process. It turns out that, if the law on the end of VAT exemption applies only to orders that were received in Portugal from the 1st of July, why are CTT holding my order? And because they want to charge me the VAT on a parcel that is stated on the customs slip as a Gift.  Not only is this situation extremely absurd, as my order was posted on the 09.06.2021 and arrived on the 16.06.202.  It took more than a week for CTT to report that they had the order in their possession to the recipient even though the recipients telephone number was on the package.  I have tried emailing customer service and no concrete answer has been given up to now. Issue has still not been resolved.I demand that my order be released from customs, as I do not owe any payment clearance, for the reasons mentioned above and that it be delivered to the recipient's address as soon as possible. Intended solution Delivery of my order without VAT charge or any charge whatsoever to the stated address.  Best RegardsVictor Cruz
