During the period I was asked to submit the employment contract, I still didn't have a new contract to submit, but my case was already showing as "expired" on the portal. Even so, I went in person to the AIMA Mahatma Gandhi counter to submit the contract as soon as I had it, on April 9, 2025. However, the portal continued to show the case as expired, and when I called AIMA, they said I hadn't closed the case on my side. I don't understand the point of going in person to submit documents if the system doesn't update or allow me to correct the situation. I'm out of options to resolve this, despite having met all the requirements. I ask that you urgently reopen and regularize my case (MI 31864856, case 13176629) so that I can live and work legally in Portugal. Thank you for your help.
