To whom it may concern, I am an American citizen who has been duped by this airline. On March 13, 2020, I was charged $ 100 to bring my hand luggage to the flight. I was allowed to take hand luggage, but the Lisbon gate agent told me it was not and would not let me board unless I paid. I complained to TAP Portugal that I shouldn't have been charged and TAP Portugal said that the representative at the gate weighed my luggage. But it is a lie because Lisbon airport does not have a scale at the door to weigh the luggage. TAP Portugal continues to ignore my emails and will not refund me. I was charged incorrectly. I have all the e-mails indicating that they have weighed my luggage and refuse to send it to me. I would like a full refund and hope that other people will not be deceived in the future. Please help.
