I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a recent transaction with the online seller Supermart through Worten Portugal. 18/09/2023,I purchased a scooter from their website, which was subsequently delivered with defects in the rear wheel. Upon noticing these defects, I promptly contacted the seller, and they assured me they would arrange for the item to be collected at my address and issue a refund. However, this collection and refund process did not occur as promised.In frustration and with no alternative left, I took the defective scooter to Worten in Mar Shopping Complex in Loule on 12/10/2023. Their staff inspected the scooter, acknowledged the defects, and accepted the return. I was informed that a refund would be processed. Unfortunately, despite their assurances, I have not received the promised refund.I have made several trips to Worten, a total of five times, to inquire about the status of my refund. Each time, their employees would call a hotline, gather information, and then contact me afterward. To date, no resolution has been provided, and my hard-earned money remains unreimbursed. Additionally, I incurred additional expenses, such as Uber fares, due to these inconveniences and delays.I am deeply dissatisfied with the handling of this matter by both Supermart and Worten Portugal. I have taken all necessary steps to address the issue directly with the involved parties, but the situation remains unresolved. I kindly request your intervention and assistance in pursuing a fair and prompt resolution to this matter.I believe my rights as a consumer have been violated, and I seek your support in ensuring that I receive the refund I am owed for the defective scooter and the associated expenses I incurred. Your intervention in this matter is greatly appreciated.It is important to note that the payment for this transaction was made through my friend's account. I have informed both Supermart and Worten Portugal about this and have provided them with all relevant documentation, including MB Way records and bank statements, to ensure that the refund is properly processed. Here's what I think:1 .The scooter was faulty when I got it, which is not right.2 .The seller promised a refund but didn't follow through.3 .Consumer rights should protect me, but they haven't.4 .I also spent extra money on Uber because of all these troubles.I need help because I believe my rights as a consumer have been violated, and I just want what's fair – a refund for the faulty scooter and compensation for the extra costs I've incurred.I can't even begin to describe how frustrated I am with this situation. It's been a never-ending ordeal. I paid for a scooter, and it arrived with a glaring defect in the rear wheel. I reached out to the seller, and they assured me they'd fix it and provide a refund. But that promise turned out to be empty.I had no choice but to drag that scooter to Worten, and even there, they confirmed the problem. They told me a refund was on the way. But guess what? It never came. This waiting game has been driving me crazy.I've been back and forth to Worten five times, pouring my heart out about this issue. They keep calling some hotline, then they say they'll get back to me, and they never do. It's like they're not taking me seriously.I just want what's right and fair. I don't think that's too much to ask. I've had to spend extra money on Uber rides because of this mess. I've been patient, I've been cooperative, and I've done everything I can to resolve this issue, but it's like I'm banging my head against a wall.My consumer rights are being trampled on, and I'm feeling helpless here. All I want is my money back for the faulty scooter and reimbursement for the extra expenses I've had to endure. I'm mentally and emotionally drained, and I need someone to step in and make this right.
