I called CUF Tejo to schedule a mamography and ecomamaria on November 27, 2025 in CUF Belem. The receptionist on the phone told me that there was many available slots on the same day at CUF Tejo and asked me if I was ready to go. I asked her to tell me what is the total price before consenting to the appointment for the exams as I do not have a Portuguese medical insurance. She told me it was 150 euro for the mamografia and 95 euro for the ecomamaria. I consented on the total price and confirmed the appointments three hours later. Our call lasted 6 minutes. I went to the appointment and did the two exams. Afterwards when I went to the reception to pay, I discovered CUF Tejo charged me 10 euro extra fee for artificial intelligence. I complained about this unsolicited extra fee saying that it was not what was agreed beforehand, before consenting to do the exams. The receptionist told me that CUF only add this discretionary fee in CUF Tejo. I told her that it was misleading from CUF to divert all clients to CUF Tejo to invoice more fees when I specifically asked to go to CUF Belem and that I was not made aware prior to booking the appointments that it was more expansive to do the exams at CUF Tejo that any other CUF. Moreover, I was not informed at all of the extra fee when I specially asked on the phone about the total price for the two exams at CUF TEJO. It's clearly unfair commercial practice from CUF. I had no choice but to pay the extra fee if I wanted to have the results of both exams... My complain should be linked to the same complain of Sara Romeiras Diogo, dated 8/10/2025. CUF is clearly abusing its clients to pay for unsolicited/hidden services.
